“Years ago my wife and I decided to build a home in the Black Mountain area. Since we were four hours from Black Mountain and still working at the time, we had to have a builder that we trusted. We first met Jim when he volunteered to help us choose between two properties for our future home. He spent over an hour with us as we walked the properties. We were both impressed with his personable and open manner, as well as the practical advice that he gave. It was a couple of years later until we began building, and we spoke with Jim and John on several occasions about floor plans and cost estimates. Our instincts proved correct as we found them to be honest, they build with the high quality that we expected, and stayed close to budget. As with any exercise this large there will be occasional hiccups with subs, but E&M were always there on our side and straightened things out. I always felt like they were building my house with the same care that they would take with their own house. They went above and beyond in many instances, and looked for ways to save money.
